Sending Bulk to FBA or 3PL: What Breaks a First Shipment
Bulk deliveries to Amazon FBA or a 3PL warehouse follow different rules from single-customer parcels. These are the details that most often cause a first shipment to fail.

Shipping one parcel to a shopper and shipping a pallet or carton into a warehouse are two different jobs. Treating them as the same thing is the most common cause of a first-shipment problem.
The Warehouse Has Rules, and They Differ
FBA and third-party logistics warehouses each publish their own requirements for carton weight, labelling, barcodes and packaging. Confirm your supplier can meet the receiving warehouse's specific rules before the order is packed, not after.
Labels and Barcodes Decide Whether It Is Accepted
Carton labels, product barcodes and any required inserts have to be correct on arrival. Agree in advance who produces and applies them — the supplier, you, or a prep service.
A shipment rejected at the warehouse costs more than the label that would have prevented it.
Single Parcels Are a Separate Track
If you also fulfil individual customer orders, that route needs its own packing slip, its own tracking, and its own returns handling. Keep the two tracks documented separately so each order is packed the way it will be received.
Confirm Responsibilities in Writing
Before shipping, line up who is responsible for packing, labelling, documentation and the outcome of a rejected delivery. A short written summary prevents most disputes.
